SALT’s Solution.

SALT created the Lord’s Dining Club. In partnership with the MCC, we invited world-class Michelin starred chefs including Tom Kerridge, Claude Bosi, Daniel Clifford and Simon Rogan, to cook dinner for 200 people in the historic Long Room.

We persuaded the club to open up the England dressing room and its famous balcony for pre-dinner drinks and canapés for the first time in its 215 year history. Cricketing legend Angus Fraser hosted and each chef chatted through the highs and lows of their careers and their love of cricket, giving the audience a truly unique and joyful experience.

Results.

Now in its third sell-out year, the Lord’s Dining Club has been a game changer for the MCC. Positioning their hospitality offering at the pinnacle of sports entertainment – as well as creating content which has had global engagement – introducing a whole new audience to the magic of Lord’s.

“As a massive cricket fan it was a great honour to cook for so many important people at a venue steeped in so much history.”

Client’s Challenge.

Food: Bigger than the Plate was an exciting new exhibition exploring the future of food, sustainability and our relationship with the food cycle.

During an eighteen month process we consulted for the V&A on how they could bring an eating and drinking experiential element into the galleries – something never tried before on this scale.

SALT’s Solution.

SALT managed a myriad of stakeholders including curators, designers, chefs, caterers and front of house staff to enable visitors to gain a sensory, taste-led experience that mirrored the goals of the exhibition.

We also led a campaign of awareness-driving events which included VIP dinners for patrons, press and influencers as well as the Gala Opening Night.

Results.

With over 250,000 visitors to the exhibition predicted and a clean sweep in national reviews (including 4* in The Times, Guardian, Independent and the Evening Standard) the exhibition proved to be a hit. Working collaboratively from the outset with a ‘one agency’ mindset delivered results for all involved.

Client’s Challenge.

MR PORTER engaged SALT to produce an experience to celebrate the launch of Kiton on MR PORTER. The aim: to bring together twenty five specially selected friends of the brand in a Kiton-inspired culinary experience in Los Angeles.

SALT’s Solution.

SALT reimagined how MR PORTER creates unforgettable experiences for their VIP customers. Inspired by the spirit and style of Campagnia, home of Kiton, we worked with Sfoglino and Chef Evan Funke –  one of LA’s most in-demand chefs and a master craftsman of authentic regional Italian Cuisine – to create a one off experience that sat perfectly alongside MR PORTER and Kiton’s approach to luxury retail and tailoring.

A true display of artisanal craftsmanship.

Results.

The production was immersive, entertaining and authentic. Delivering satisfaction amongst the key stakeholders from MR PORTER in addition to sincere compliments from the Italian team from Kiton – the ultimate endorsement for an American chef striving for perfection when delivering Italian food to the table.

SALT were able to bring excitement, intrigue and high levels of satisfaction to MR PORTER’s guests in an appropriate style for such a notable partnership.
