In the  Spring of 2022, Aston Martin launched the DBX707 Luxury SUV. To champion the strong ties Aston Martin has with craftmanship, luxury performance and refined taste, we want to bring to life a physical media campaign that reflects their core brand values, whilst engaging the few, to influence the many.

Our challenge was to identify a culinary personality that compliments and enhances Aston Martin’s current perception to help deliver the core brand objectives for this campaign.  Chef Tom Brown brought to life the key elements for best-in-class storytelling, enhanced culinary physical activation and other marketing and promotional touchpoints beyond this to drive inspiration and meet objectives

Food Fest: Soho Farmhouse’s Biggest Day Ever!

Clients Challenge.

After a two year hiatus in the food festival scene, Soho House tasked SALT with curating and producing the 2022 Soho Farmhouse Festival with the intention to build on the past offering while utilising the vast resource and partners available to them internally. The aim from the start was to refashion the concept of a food festival by creating a unique environment for culinary talent to freely run their workshops, while producing an epic festival craved by restaurateurs, producers and food enthusiasts.

SALT’s Solution.

SALT, in collaboration with Soho House, created a multi-area food festival that featured a stellar roll call of culinary talents from the UK and abroad, alongside brand partners Porsche, Patron, Martini, Angel’s Envy, Woodford Reserve and HexClad. The FoodFest was split into six festival areas including The Harvest Table where guests were able to break bread with culinary stars such as James Beard Award-winner Nancy Silverton; The Jungle where manteca’s Chef Chris Leach tossed pizzas with the farm’s foraged ingredients; and the main festival area where a myriad of flavours were delivered by some of the UK’s most influential chefs, amongst others.

Bringing East London’s Best Seafood Experience Back to Life for the Few.

Clients Challenge.

Mr. Porter, together with SALT were tasked to give access to a space known for elite cooking and unique dining to break the fatigue of virtual events during lockdown.  The idea was to create an event that allowed a select number of ‘Friends of Mr. Porter’ exclusive access to award-winning restaurant, Cornerstone, before it officially re-opened post lockdown.

What We Did.

Simply put, we were able to offer relief from the ‘virtual-fatigue’ from online events and allow the guests to experience what was then considered a rare physical activation with access to one of the UK’s most in-demand chefs. With a specially curated food and drink experience alongside a masterful demonstration of Tom creating his signature dishes, and with that of course, it ended in a night of great food, drink and laughter. For the content creation, we produced a space to capture the latest summer collections from Mr. Porter and produce in-depth food-based editorial with Tom Brown.
